My work isn’t just professional — it’s personal. It’s ancestral. And it’s deeply intentional.
I am Michelle J. Dyett-Welcome, a woman raised by story, sculpted by science, and softened by spirit. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been holding space: for voices unheard, identities unseen, and pain unspoken.
What began as a calling rooted in advocacy and truth-telling has grown into a sanctuary for healing. Today, I walk beside others — not in front — guiding them into wholeness using the tools that changed my own life: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, somatic storytelling, and ancestral remembrance.
But healing, for me, is not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about reclaiming what was never truly lost — your sense of worth, your voice, your joy, your freedom.
My approach bridges the clinical and the communal, honoring both psychology and the power of presence, performance, and poetry.
I am here to honor your humanity.
Healing happens in relationship—through community, through connection, and through courageous witnessing. My work blends the science of nervous system repair with the soul of cultural remembrance. It is guided by the sacred African practice of Kasàlà—a poetic invocation of identity, dignity, and ancestral truth. Through Ubuntu and Umuntu, we remember: I am because we are. Humanity is healed when we are seen, named, and honored.
I bring together Internal Family Systems, Brainspotting, HeartMath, hypnosis, and other state-of-the-art tools with soul-rooted rituals, not to fix you—but to help you return to yourself.
As an Enneagram 4, I honor difference. As a trained and certified practitioner, I value depth. And as a woman walking between science, story, and spirit, I offer a space where your unique path is not just welcomed—it’s required.
This is not formulaic. This is personal. It’s not performative. It’s profound.
This is the art of healing in community.
